Japan’s Tankan big manufacturers' index rose to plus 4 in the Apr-to-Jun period, from minus 8 in the previous quarter. (BBC)

The eurozone unemployment rate rose to a previous record-high of 12.1% in May. (AFP) 

The manufacturing PMI for the eurozone ticked up to 48.8 in Jun from 48.7. (Bloomberg) 

Inflation in the euro area rose to 1.6% yoy in Jun from 1.4% in May. (Bloomberg) 

South Korea’s exports fell 0.9% yoy (3.2% in May) to US$46.73bn while imports dropped 1.8% (-4.6% in May) to US$41.22bn, resulting in a trade surplus of $5.52bn. (AFP)

Home prices in major Chinese cities jumped 7.4% yoy in Jun despite government moves to curb the property market. (AFP) 

Vietnam’s manufacturing PMI weakened to 46.4 in Jun from 48.8 in May. (Bloomberg) 

Indonesia’s manufacturing PMI ticked lower to 51 in Jun from 51.6 in May. (Bloomberg) 

Indonesia’s inflation rate increased to 5.9% yoy in Jun from 5.47% in May. (Bloomberg)
