ERL: klia2 delay has minor impact on revenue

The delay in the completion of KLIA2 has caused some minor impact to Express Rail Link's (ERL) revenue. ERL anticipates a 40% surge in ridership on the KLIA Express and KLIA Transit next year once its service to KLIA2 runs at full speed. It now has a daily ridership of 16,000. The 2.2km track extension from KLIA to KLIA2 is 99% completed, with the remaining work being the concourse area, which is expected to be completed by end of this month. The ERL station at KLIA2 will be located within the terminal's integrated complex. (BT)
