Magna Prima aims to raise funds

Magna Prima Bhd, whose shares rose 34% to hit limit-up on Tuesday, says it is considering a potential fund-raising exercise for the company. The property developer said other than that, the board is not aware of any other developments that may have contributed to the unusual market activity in its shares. On Tuesday, the company's shares rose as much as 30 sen to RM1.18 before closing at RM1.16. Some 8.5m units were traded. (BT)
