Puncak gains ground on investor interest

Puncak Niaga continues to garner investors’ including fund managers’ attention amid rising optimism on Selangor’s water services industry restructure coming to a conclusion. “We have been slowly accumulating Puncak shares since last week. So far it’s been paying off,” a fund manager at a local bank said. He added that the fragmented water sector could see a solution after years of “water war”. Institutional funds were also seen buying shares in Puncak. The EPF and its portfolio managers have bought 3m Puncak shares, raising its stake to 5.2%. Meanwhile, Lembaga Tabung Haji has also been busy trading Puncak shares. (StarBiz)
