Sime Darby aims for 5-8% growth in palm oil production annually

Sime Darby Plantation Sdn Bhd aims for 5% to 8% growth in palm oil production annually, its VP Datuk Franki Anthony Dass said. He said the company will implement best agriculture practices and agro management to increase yields in all its fields. Franki also said that the company plans to increase refinery capacity for its downstream business between 4m to 5m metric tonnes from 3.5m metric tonnes currently. (Bernama)
