Spanish firm get RM115mil Prasaran job

Syarikat Prasarana Negara Bhd has awarded a RM115m contract to Spanish company Indra to design, develop and commission a new integrated control centre. The centre, which will initially cover the monorail and Ampang and Kelana Jaya LRT lines, will be expanded until it controls all public transport lines operated by Prasarana. The 48-month contract will include the remaining contracts for the MRT lines, the KTM Komuter railway line and other future transport systems for the country. Indra is one of the world's largest consultancy and technology multinationals, a leader in Europe and Latin America and is expanding in other emerging economies. (BT)
